Mortgage Assistance

If you are having difficulty making the payment on your home loan with our bank and wish to avoid foreclosure, you may be eligible for a loan workout or modification. We determine eligibility for workouts and modifications on a case-by-case basis. Among the things we will consider is the value of your home and your capacity to make monthly mortgage payments.

To discuss your options and the best available solution for you, please call us at (866) 844-7500 and ask to speak to a representative from the Consumer Lending Department. Before you call us, it is important that you are prepared and have collected the following documentation so we can better assist you:

  • Loan number
  • Recent income documents (e.g., pay stubs)
  • List of current expenses
  • Recent tax returns
  • Explanation of your current financial circumstances warranting assistance

You may also call the Department of Housing and Urban Development (HUD) at (800) 569-4287 to find a HUD-certified housing counseling agency.  HUD-approved housing counseling agencies are available to provide you with the information and assistance you need to avoid foreclosure.  Additional information is available from HUD on its website at http://www.hud.gov

If you think there has been an error in the servicing of your Home Mortgage, Home Equity Loan or Line of Credit (“Account”) or if you would like to request information about your account, please write to us at the following address:

  • Account Information - name, loan number and property address
  • Description of problem - explanation of what you believe is wrong and why it is an error
