Oak Valley Community Bank - Open Positions

Roseville Branch
Our full-service Roseville Branch located at 1478 Stone Point Drive is slated to open this summer. We are currently seeking applicants for the following positions:

- Customer Service Manager
- Customer Service Representative/New Accounts
- Customer Service Representatives

Summary descriptions of these positions below.

Agricultural Loan Underwriter
Examines, evaluates, and authorizes or recommends approval of applications for Agricultural loans. Responsibilities include review of requests for the establishment or renewal of agricultural loans and lines of credit. Under general direction, underwrite loans within defined limit of authority or recommend credit action to Credit Administration for approval. Investigate all available sources of credit and financial information. May manage an assigned agricultural/commercial loan portfolio, including special assets. No business development responsibilities are required of this position. Desired candidates will possess a Bachelor of Science degree in Business Administration with a concentration in finance or accounting preferred. Five or more years of commercial credit underwriting experience.

Commercial Loan Assistant
Provides administrative support to assigned Commercial Loan Officer(s) by assisting in the coordination of loan documentation requests and portfolio management. Responsible for ensuring all supporting documentation is received and reviewed in accordance with credit policy and procedures and all applicable laws and regulations prior to requesting loan documents on new loans, renewals, and extension requests. In addition, this individual assists Commercial Loan Officers with exceptions, ticklers, covenant compliance, maturities, delinquencies, and other administrative duties as required. Desired candidates will possess a 2-year college or technical school degree; and preferably a minimum of three years’ experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.

Commercial Loan Officer (CLO)
OVCB is seeking CLO applicants for all markets served. CLOs will develop, examine, evaluate and recommend approval of business applications for lines of credit, term loans and commercial real estate loans and will analyze potential loan markets to develop prospects for loans to increase or retain existing customer and business relationships. The CLO is responsible for helping to achieve the bank’s loan and deposit goals through ongoing business development. Desired candidates will have a bachelor’s degree and/or five years of related banking experience.

Commercial Loan Underwriter
Oak Valley Community Bank is currently seeking an experienced and qualified Commercial Loan Underwriter for our Oakdale or Roseville location. This on-site position will deliver quality service and ensure loans are underwritten, analyzed, documented and processed according to bank policy. Duties include but are not limited to:
• Analyzing personal and business tax returns and/or financial statements for commercial/business requests in accordance with loan policy.
• Preparing financial spreads and loan narratives that support a credit decision.
• Working with lending personnel to determine appropriate loan structure.
• Informing team members of loan decisions/recommendations based on a review of all underwriting criteria.
• Reviewing commercial appraisals.
Desired candidates will have a high school diploma or General Education Degree (GED), Bachelor’s degree or equivalent and 3-5 years of commercial loan underwriting experience consisting of lending and financial analysis.

Credit Analyst I
Responsible for the timely gathering and analyzing of credit information on current and potential borrowers; determines the advisability of granting credit for diversified types of loans; assists in writing loan requests; promotes business for the bank by maintaining good customer relations and referring customers to appropriate staff for new services. This is an entry-level position which provides support to commercial loan officers. Desired candidates will possess a bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, economics, agriculture business or related field required, or non-business-related degree with equivalent combination of education and experience.

Customer Service Manager (CSM)
OVCB is seeking a CSM for our Roseville branch. Desired candidates will possess a 2-year college or technical school degree; three to five years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience. Qualified applicants should possess strong customer service skills, be motivated, and ambitious. The CSM is responsible for assisting and supporting the Branch Manager in the administration and efficient daily operation of a full-service branch office, including the areas of operations, product sales, customer service, staff supervision, security, and safety in accordance with the Bank’s objectives.

Customer Service Representatives (CSR)
OVCB is seeking CSRs for our Modesto, Tracy, Manteca, and Roseville branches. Desired candidates will possess a high school diploma or GED; one to two years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience. Qualified applicants should possess strong customer service skills, be motivated, and ambitious. The CSR is responsible for the receipt and disbursement of customer funds or other negotiable instruments and the posting of corresponding debits and credits to record these transactions; and cross-selling appropriate bank services in a professional responsive manner. Banking experience is preferred. Prior cash handling experience is a must.

Customer Service Representative/New Accounts (CSR/NA)
OVCB is seeking CSR/NA applicants for our Modesto-Dale Road, Turlock, Oakdale, and Roseville branches. Desired candidates will possess a high school diploma or GED; one to two years’ experience and or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience. Qualified applicants should possess strong customer service skills, be motivated, and ambitious. The CSR/NA representative is responsible for the opening, maintaining, and closing of all account types, explains and processes all new account transactions, promotes business for the bank by maintaining good customer relations and other clerical functions in a professional manner. a. Banking experience is preferred. Prior cash handling experience is a must.

Customer Service Specialist
This position is housed in our Oakdale Customer Service Center. The specialist will assist the Central Operations team by answering inbound calls, monitoring wire activity, account activity and a variety of operational clerical duties. In this role, they will provide outstanding customer service to individuals contacting bank, by phone or online, by resolving issues, providing information. Desired candidates will possess a high school diploma or GED: experience in financial services and customer service call center preferred.

Documentation Management Associate
Oak Valley Community Bank is seeking applicants for a Document Management Associate in our Oakdale office. The Associate will assist in the administration of electronic loan and credit files, and the FIS Document Management System. Ensures all procedures are adhered to and can work efficiently with a high degree of accuracy. The Associate will be responsible for the integrity and timeliness of scanning, storing and organizing the loan and financial files for the life cycle of each physical and/or electronic record. Desired candidates will have a high school diploma or general education degree (GED); Minimum six-month banking experience assisting in quality documentation functions or working in the bank lending environment, preferably in loan documentation, filing or combination. One-year certificate from college or technical school: or one-year related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience. Must have sound knowledge of web-based tools, MS Outlook, Word, and Excel.

Online Banking Specialist
This position is housed in our Oakdale Customer Service Center. The specialist will provide technical, general, and professional support to internal and external clients of the bank. In this role, they will provide outstanding customer service to individuals contacting the bank, by phone or online, by resolving issues, providing information. In addition, they will also educate clients on various internet banking, Treasury Management products and services, abide by all applicable regulatory requirements and internal practices and procedures. Desired candidates will possess a high school diploma or GED; experience in financial services, lending, and customer service call center preferred.
