Agricultural Lending Officer
Oak Valley Community Bank is seeking applicants for an Agricultural Lending Officer who will develop, examine, evaluate and authorize or recommend approval of client applications for agricultural loans, including: crop production lines of credit, crop development financing, dairy financing, agricultural real estate loans, receivables financing and equipment financing. Responsibilities include the following: Responsible for helping to achieve the bank’s loan and deposit goals through ongoing business development. Analyzes applicant financial status, credit, and property evaluation to determine feasibility of granting loan or submits application to credit analyst for verification and recommendation. Corresponds with or interviews applicants or creditors to resolve questions regarding application information. Approves loan within specified limits or refers loan to loan committee for approval. Ensures loan agreements are complete and accurate according to policy. Efficiently process new loan applications and renewals by navigating through Word, Excel, Tax Analysis, Moodys, E-Mail System, or any other computer program used to process loans. Analyzes potential loan markets to develop prospects for loans to increase or retain existing business relationships. Desired candidates will possess a Bachelor's degree (B.A) from four-year College or university; generally has five or more years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
Agricultural Loan Underwriter
Oak Valley Community Bank is seeking applicants for an Agricultural Loan Underwriter who will examine, evaluate, and authorize or recommend approval of applications for Agricultural loans. Responsibilities include the following: Review requests for the establishment or renewal of agricultural loans and lines of credit. Under general direction, underwrite loans within defined limit of authority or recommend credit action to Credit Administration for approval. Investigate all available sources of credit and financial information. May manage an assigned agricultural/commercial loan portfolio, including special assets. No business development responsibilities are required of this position. Desired candidates will possess a Bachelor of Science degree in Business Administration with a concentration in finance or accounting preferred. Five or more years of commercial credit underwriting experience.
Commercial Loan Assistant
Oak Valley Community Bank is seeking applicants for a Commercial Loan Assistant who will provide administrative support to assigned Commercial Loan Officer(s) by assisting in the coordination of loan documentation requests and portfolio management. This individual is responsible for ensuring all supporting documentation is received and reviewed in accordance with credit policy and procedures and all applicable laws and regulations prior to requesting loan documents on new loans, renewals and extension requests. In addition, this individual assists Commercial Loan Officers with exceptions, ticklers, covenant compliance, maturities, delinquencies and other administrative duties as required. Desired candidates will possess a college or technical school degree; or preferably a minimum of three years’ experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
Commercial Loan Officer
Oak Valley Community Bank is seeking candidates for a Commercial Loan Officer for all locations who will develop, examine, evaluate and recommend approval of business applications for lines of credit, term loans and commercial real estate loans and who will analyze potential loan markets to develop prospects for loans to increase or retain existing customer and business relationships. The Commercial Loan Officer is responsible for helping to achieve the bank’s loan and deposit goals through ongoing business development. Desired candidates will have a 4 year degree and/or five years of related banking experience.
Customer Service Representatives
Oak Valley Community Bank is seeking applicants for Customer Service Representatives for our Oakdale, Modesto McHenry and Downtown locations. Desired candidates will possess a High School Diploma or General Education Degree (GED); one to two years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience. Qualified applicants must have great customer service skills, be motivated and ambitious. The Customer Service Representative will be required to perform to standards that meet or exceed bank and department objectives of all internal and external customers by representing the bank in a professional responsive manner, performing paying, receiving and related transactions and cross selling appropriate bank services for increased customer satisfaction and account retention. Banking experience is preferred. Prior cash handling experience is a must.
Customer Service Representatives - New Accounts
Oak Valley Community Bank is seeking applicants for full-time CSR - New Accounts positions for our Ripon location who will be accountable for opening, maintaining and closing of all account types, explains and processes all new account transactions, promotes business for the bank by maintaining good customer relations and other clerical functions. The CSR-New Accounts will be required to perform to standards that meet or exceed bank and department objectives of all internal and external customers by representing the bank in a professional responsive manner. Oak Valley Community Bank is seeking applicants for a Loan Assistant who will be responsible for assisting the Consumer/Residential Lending Department with clerical, loan processing and origination support.
Responsibilities include, but are not limited to, new application file set up consisting of credit, income, asset and property documentation/verifications, prepare initial disclosures, ensure compliance with Home Mortgage Disclosure Act (HMDA), Real Estate Settlement Procedures Act (RESPA), Truth In Lending Act (TILA), Equal Credit Opportunity Act (ECOA), Fair Credit Reporting Act (FCRA), Flood Disaster Protection Act (FDPA), Office of Foreign Asset Control (OFAC), USA Patriot Act and predatory lending regulations.
Desired candidates will possess a High School Diploma or General Education Degree (GED); College degree with emphasis in finance preferred; 1 year recent loan processing experience; Familiarity with residential mortgage or consumer loan processing preferred; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
Registration with Nationwide Multistate Licensing System & Registry (NMLS) as a Mortgage Loan Originator will be required within 90 days of employment.
