Oak Valley Community Bank - Open Positions

Roseville Branch
Our full-service Roseville Branch located at 1478 Stone Point Drive is slated to open this fall. We are currently seeking applicants for the following positions:

- Customer Service Representative/New Accounts
- Customer Service Representatives

Summary descriptions of these positions below.

Agricultural Loan Underwriter
Examines, evaluates, and authorizes or recommends approval of applications for Agricultural loans. Responsibilities include review of requests for the establishment or renewal of agricultural loans and lines of credit. Under general direction, underwrite loans within defined limit of authority or recommend credit action to Credit Administration for approval. Investigate all available sources of credit and financial information. May manage an assigned agricultural/commercial loan portfolio, including special assets. No business development responsibilities are required of this position. Desired candidates will possess a Bachelor of Science degree in Business Administration with a concentration in finance or accounting preferred. Five or more years of commercial credit underwriting experience.

Commercial Banking Officer (CBO)
OVCB is seeking CLO applicants for all markets served. CLOs will develop, examine, evaluate and recommend approval of business applications for lines of credit, term loans and commercial real estate loans and will analyze potential loan markets to develop prospects for loans to increase or retain existing customer and business relationships. The CLO is responsible for helping to achieve the bank’s loan and deposit goals through ongoing business development. Desired candidates will have a bachelor’s degree and/or five years of related banking experience.

Commercial Loan Underwriter
Oak Valley Community Bank is currently seeking an experienced and qualified Commercial Loan Underwriter for our Oakdale or Roseville location. This on-site position will deliver quality service and ensure loans are underwritten, analyzed, documented and processed according to bank policy. Duties include but are not limited to:
• Analyzing personal and business tax returns and/or financial statements for commercial/business requests in accordance with loan policy.
• Preparing financial spreads and loan narratives that support a credit decision.
• Working with lending personnel to determine appropriate loan structure.
• Informing team members of loan decisions/recommendations based on a review of all underwriting criteria.
• Reviewing commercial appraisals.
Desired candidates will have a high school diploma or General Education Degree (GED), Bachelor’s degree or equivalent and 3-5 years of commercial loan underwriting experience consisting of lending and financial analysis.

Credit Analyst I
Responsible for the timely gathering and analyzing of credit information on current and potential borrowers; determines the advisability of granting credit for diversified types of loans; assists in writing loan requests; promotes business for the bank by maintaining good customer relations and referring customers to appropriate staff for new services. This is an entry-level position which provides support to commercial loan officers. Desired candidates will possess a bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, economics, agriculture business or related field required, or non-business-related degree with equivalent combination of education and experience.

Customer Service Representatives (CSR)
OVCB is seeking CSRs for our Oakdale, Modesto, Turlock, Sonora East and Roseville branches. Desired candidates will possess a high school diploma or GED; one to two years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience. Qualified applicants should possess strong customer service skills, be motivated, and ambitious. The CSR is responsible for the receipt and disbursement of customer funds or other negotiable instruments and the posting of corresponding debits and credits to record these transactions; and cross-selling appropriate bank services in a professional responsive manner. Banking experience is preferred. Prior cash handling experience is a must.

Customer Service Representative/New Accounts (CSR/NA)
OVCB is seeking CSR/NA applicants for our Roseville and Modesto Downtown branches. Desired candidates will possess a high school diploma or GED; one to two years’ experience and or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience. Qualified applicants should possess strong customer service skills, be motivated, and ambitious. The CSR/NA representative is responsible for the opening, maintaining, and closing of all account types, explains and processes all new account transactions, promotes business for the bank by maintaining good customer relations and other clerical functions in a professional manner. Banking experience is preferred. Prior cash handling experience is a must.

Finance Associate
Oak Valley Community Bank is seeking applications for a Finance Associate located in our Oakdale headquarters. This on-site position requires the candidate to compute, classify, record, and verify numerical data for use in maintaining accounting records. The ideal candidate will be well organized and comfortable with dealing with financial data. They should be excellent at recording data and have an ability to produce clear financial reports. To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. The desired candidate will possess a High School diploma or General Education degree (GED) and Associates degree from a two-year college or university in accounting, finance, or one or two years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.

Loan Documentation Specialist
Oak Valley Community Bank is currently seeking an experienced Loan Documentation Specialist for our Oakdale location. In this role you will be responsible for preparing and reviewing all types of commercial, construction, SBA 504, and commercial real estate loan documents of varying complexity using the LaserPro software. You will be responsible for ensuring loan document packages are prepared in compliance with all applicable regulations, laws and the Bank’s credit policies and procedures. Duties and responsibilities include reviewing supporting documentation, including but not limited to entity documents, title reports, collateral, flood certifications and UCC searches. Desired candidates will have a High School diploma or General Education degree (GED); college or technical school degree; a minimum of two to three years loan documentation experience preferably at a commercial bank or a minimum of three years’ experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.

Loan Servicing Associate
Oak Valley Community Bank is seeking candidates for a Loan Servicing Associate in our Oakdale location. The Loan Servicing Associate is responsible for performing loan operational functions which may include insurance processing, payment posting, advancing from lines, servicing participation loans and reconciling general ledger balances with lead banks, monthly certifications, back-up to all loan servicing functions including loan boarding, payoffs, and payoff demands. The individual will be accountable to ensure that all activities performed are consistent with the appropriate loan credit policies, loan operations and bank operations policies, and that these policies are adhered to and enforced. The desired candidate will possess a High School diploma or GED; this is an entry level position; no experience is necessary. Additional requirements include accurate use of a PC and calculator, the ability to perform balancing, research and analytical exercises, with intense attention to detail, work interruptions and changing conditions.

Online Banking Specialist
Oak Valley Community Bank is seeking applications for an Online Banking Specialist in our Oakdale location. The Specialist will provide technical, general, and professional support to internal and external clients of the Bank. In this role, you will provide outstanding customer service to individuals contacting the Bank, by phone or online, by resolving issues, providing information, and looking for opportunities to strengthen the customer relationship through suggesting Bank products and services. In addition, they will also educate clients on various internet banking, Treasury Management products and services, abide by all applicable regulatory requirements and internal practices and procedures. Desired candidates will possess a high school diploma or general education degree (GED); experience in financial services and call center customer service experience is preferred.
