Branch Manager

Commercial Loan Underwriter

Oak Valley Community Bank is currently seeking an experienced and qualified Commercial Loan Underwriter for our Oakdale or Roseville location. This on-site position will deliver quality service and ensure loans are underwritten, analyzed, documented and processed according to bank policy. Duties include but are not limited to:

  • Analyzing personal and business tax returns and/or financial statements for commercial/business requests in accordance with loan policy.
  • Preparing financial spreads and loan narratives that support a credit decision.
  • Working with lending personnel to determine appropriate loan structure.
  • Informing team members of loan decisions/recommendations based on a review of all underwriting criteria.
  • Reviewing commercial appraisals. Desired candidates will have a high school diploma or General Education Degree (GED), Bachelor’s degree or equivalent and 3-5 years of commercial loan underwriting experience consisting of lending and financial analysis.

Job Details: $70,000- $125,000 annually

  • Clerical Superstar: From paperwork to organization, you’ll handle it all like a pro.

  • Cash Handling: Yep, it’s a must. Prior experience in handling cash will set you up for success.
